Cynthia Greenberg

I’m Cynthia Greenberg, founder of Red Carpet Rollout. I grew up in California in a family that was actively engaged in giving back to the community. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t helping out with a fundraiser or planning a party, whether it was charity leagues in junior high school or fundraisers in high school, there was always something we were working on.

I pursued marketing in college.  I love how many exciting roles are under one umbrella. Marketing opened the door for me to gain expertise in PR, communications and events. I found a career that is the perfect balance of exactly who I am – creative and detailed.

As a public relations and marketing/communications executive with over 15 years of experience, event planning has been at the core of much of my work. I’ve planned everything from a 2,000 person corporate gala to company retreats, charitable auctions and intimate cocktail parties.  Event planning is a passion. When I’m not working my day-job as the head of PR/communications, I dedicate my time to the New York Junior League as well as other charitable organizations. (For my full bio, please see LinkedIn.) As Vice Chair for the Junior League’s Fundraisers Committee I help plan and host numerous charitable events each year.

Why Red Carpet Rollout?
I’m often asked for advice on social, charitable and corporate event planning, and when searching around online I realized there was a big gap in information available – especially as it relates to fundraising ideas and tips. Red Carpet Rollout is a way to share best practices with others so they can plan and host amazing events. It’s also a way for those interested in planning, hosting and attending social, charitable and corporate events to ask questions and seek out information. Events are a ton of work, but the result can be amazing. This is a place to get advice, find new ideas, learn what’s new and share with others.
