Here’s a look at last year’s New York Junior League Fall Fete – the Annual Fall Auction benefiting New York Parks and Recreation.

The 13th Annual Fall Auction will be held this year on Friday, November 18th starting at 6:30 pm at Hudson Terrace. DJ The 8th Era will be on hand getting the 700 anticipated guests dancing. Live Auction highlights include 2 tickets to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, a weeklong vacation to Acapulco, a Miami get-away and much more. A look at the New York Junior League’s 12th Annual Fall Auction from 2010

On November 11, 2010, about 600 guests attended the New York Junior League (“NYJL”) 12th Annual Fall Fête at Sotheby’s.

One of the NYJL’s largest glittering fundraisers, Fall Fête featured live and silent auctions accompanied by delicious appetizers, cocktail reception and dancing to the sounds of DJ Cameron Smalls.

Guests bid on live auction items that featured a New York Giants fan package, a 7-night Caribbean getaway with Elite Island Resort Caribbean, a Miami Beach resort package at the Delano, a Cynthia Rowley private party, confirmed tickets to a Saturday Night Live taping…and more.

Over 100 silent auction items included David Yurman jewelry, artwork from renowned artists, Victoria’s Secret gift baskets, David Barton Gym membership, tickets to Yankees and Mets games, an autographed edition of the Rolling Stones “Forty Licks” album, and food and wine packages.

VIPs had special seating in the VIP area and received a gift bag valued at over $250.

Invited guests attended the Live Auction beginning at 8 pm and included the announcement of 2010-11 Outstanding Sustainers and Volunteers.

The event concluded at 11pm and then guests attended the after-party hosted at Nikki Midtown featuring a choice of drink specials and succulent food tastings.

The annual NYJL Fall Auction generated vital funding for critical NYJL community services, including one of its signature programs, the Playground Improvement Project.
