Halloween Decorating: How to Make Cheesecloth Ghosts
I recently saw these ghosts in Martha Stewart Living and wanted to give them a try. I always think the ideas stemming from Martha Stewart are for art majors or people with teams of helpers…I was proven wrong! These are the easiest ghosts to make and they look fantastic!
I bought different sized paper wedding bells from the party store and got bleached white cheesecloth. I simply hot-glue gunned black paper circles to the cheese cloth and placed it over the wedding bells to make my very own ghosts.
Here’s the easy step-by-step guide:
- Buy paper wedding bells from a party store
- Use bleached white cheesecloth
- Put the wedding bell together
- Place cheesecloth over the wedding bell
- Cut cheesecloth to size
- Cut circles and ovals for eyes and mouth
- Hot glue gun circles to the cheesecloth to form eyes and mouth
- Place eyes on cheesecloth
- Place mouth and ghost is complete
