Three part series on fundraising donation solicitation tools
We reviewed and included a donation solicitation letter that you can use and make your own when going out and asking for donations for your live auction and silent auction. We also reviewed and included a donation solicitation contract.
Part 3: Donation Underwriting Contract
Sometimes you have a donor who doesn’t have an item to donate, but wants to underwrite a portion of your overall event. This is terrific! Having food, decor or the like donated means less you need to pay for in order to put the event on. That equates to more fundraising dollars to your charity!
But, just as we reviewed yesterday, it’s important to have contracts for all donations.
Take this Donation Underwriting Contractand make it your own. Fill out as much as you can about the donation and the donor and send it to them to approve and finalize. Use it to keep tabs on the donations you have finalized.
